Why are you in southern California?
This is a strategic time Global Fellowship wanted us to begin a new network of partnerships in this geography for ourselves and the organization.
What are you doing while in southern California?
We are building relationships with churches and individuals, raising a support team, and continuing to be trained for future church-planting work. Part of this plan is voluntarily serving in our church, Vineyard Anaheim, and in our Brazilian church, PIBBLA, both in Downtown LA and in Wildomar (i.e. low-income and homeless food distribution and evangelization).
How long will you be in southern California?
Building deeply rooted relationships and a support team takes time. We plan to be here for up to 3 years.
Are you going back to Thailand?
We would love to, however, we want to allow God during this time to speak to our hearts about wherever he might want us to go, and not be too focused on where we have already been.
Where do you see yourself going next?
While our hearts want to be overseas, we are not looking for the next specific overseas field of ministry quite yet. We are listening, and we hear God saying, “Be patient and allow me to work in you while you here.”
How can we best continue to support you?
We invite you to continue to support us relationally, financially and prayerfully as we get ready for what is next. We ask that you remain our partners as we express God’s love where we are today. When we depart to our next mission field you will be a part of sharing God’s loving Gospel throughout the world.
Why do you personally raise support rather than be paid by a church?
We have been led to create a partnership with many people who are passionate about the work we are doing. It has been a blessing to have so many people share in our work. We have consistently seen that God is faithful and worthy of our trust as you generously trust us with the work we have been called to.
